BIM Coordinator - MEP

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead BIM coordination activities for MEP disciplines, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems.
• Develop, review, and manage LOD 300–LOD 500 MEP BIM models.
• Prepare estimates for MEP projects.
• Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks, and resolve issues with design teams.
• Coordinate MEP models with architectural and structural disciplines to ensure clash-free models.
• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, and construction documents for accuracy.
• Ensure BIM models comply with BIM Execution Plans, project standards, and client requirements.
• Manage and update BIM coordination reports and clash reports.
• Attend coordination meetings and provide technical input to clients and consultants.
• Guide and review the work of BIM Modelers and Junior Engineers.
• Ensure timely delivery of BIM outputs according to the project schedule.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of exclusive MEP BIM experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Revit MEP and Navisworks Manage.
• Good understanding of MEP systems and construction practices.
• Proven experience in multidisciplinary coordination and large-scale projects.
• Knowledge of BIM Execution Plans and project workflows.
• Gulf project experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with high-rise buildings, infrastructure, or commercial projects.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
