Structural Design Engineer

Perfection Metal Industries LLC is hiring an experienced Structural Design Engineer to join its team in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. The role is suitable for professionals with a minimum of 5 years of UAE experience in the structural steel or metal industry and requires expertise in structural steel design, structural analysis, connection design, and UAE authority approval procedures.

Job Details:
Position: Structural Design Engineer
Location: Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates
Experience: 5+ years; minimum 5 years of UAE experience in the structural steel or metal industry
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: AED 7,000–10,000 per month

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop 3D structural models for steel structure design and analysis.
• Perform structural analysis using STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, RAM, and IDEA StatiCa.
• Prepare structural design calculations, technical reports, and steel connection designs.
• Produce structural shop drawings, including plans, sections, schedules, and connection details, using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers, and local authorities to obtain design approvals.
• Attend technical meetings and resolve site-related issues and technical queries.
• Provide value engineering solutions while ensuring structural safety and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree (B.E.) in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in structural steel or metal industries.
• Strong proficiency in STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, IDEA StatiCa, and AutoCAD.
• Solid understanding of UAE structural design codes, regulations, and authority requirements.
• Experience in structural steel connection design, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
• Excellent technical coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Accreditations:
• Dubai Municipality accreditation (G+1 or G+4).
• Trakhees Grey Card.
• Dubai Development Authority (DDA) accreditation.
