BIM Manager

Job Summary:

• Implement and manage the BIM 360 collaboration environment for the project.
• Support design review workflows and ensure BIM compliance for models and drawings.
• Manage model interface, system and data integration, and 3D design and construction execution plans.

Major Responsibilities:

• Implement the project BIM strategy, exchange requirements, Asset Information Requirements, execution plans, and ISO 19650 requirements.
• Develop and review standard CAD and 3D model templates.
• Establish and enforce BIM standards across projects.
• Conduct regular BIM audits, check model health, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Monitor team progress and support delivery improvements.
• Collaborate with project teams to establish BIM Execution Plans.
• Estimate BIM resource requirements, deploy the team, and mentor team members.
• Set up and configure BIM 360 collaboration and interference management requirements.
• Coordinate BIM activities, including coordinate systems, standard templates, clash management, and design reviews, across design groups, consultants, and contractors.
• Manage handover of milestone models and templates in line with project design and contracting work packages.
• Facilitate model coordination and review deliverables against client BIM requirements.
• Develop, communicate, and institutionalize standardized BIM workflows.
• Train stakeholders on BIM 360 and related workflows.
• Assess BIM process implementation and compliance with the project execution strategy.
• Liaise between design subcontractors, construction teams, subject matter experts, and IT to resolve BIM-related issues.
• Develop progress, quality, and other BIM 360 reports and dashboards for project management.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 12+ years of experience as a BIM professional leveraging and managing technology in design and construction.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• BIM Execution experience for pharmaceutical, data center, and semiconductor facilities.
• Experience with BIM Execution from LOD 200 to LOD 500 for these facilities.
• Proficiency in BIM 360 Suite, Revit, Revit Fabrication, Navisworks, Assemble, and Inventor.
• Working knowledge of Autodesk and Hexagon authoring platforms, including their features, functions, and limitations.
• Understanding of workflows across design, estimation, construction administration, and coordination.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment, manage priorities, and take on evolving responsibilities.
