BIM Trainer

Teks Academy, a software training institute based in Hyderabad with more than 14 years of industry-focused training experience, is seeking a BIM Trainer for an on-site role. The position involves delivering classroom- and lab-based training on Building Information Modeling tools and methodologies to students and working professionals.

Responsibilities:
• Deliver structured training on BIM tools and methodologies.
• Prepare lesson plans, training materials, and practical demonstrations using industry-standard BIM software.
• Assess learners through assignments and projects and provide constructive feedback.
• Help learners develop professional portfolios aligned with industry expectations.
• Stay updated on BIM trends, technologies, and standards.
• Collaborate with the academic team to improve curricula and contribute to workshops, seminars, and placement-oriented training programs.
• Support learners in developing practical BIM skills and understanding industry workflows.

Requirements:
• Strong skills in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360 or equivalent tools.
• Solid understanding of 3D modeling and coordination workflows.
• Applied knowledge of architecture, civil or structural engineering, construction workflows, and building lifecycle concepts.
• Training and facilitation skills, including lesson planning, classroom management, and clear explanation of complex concepts.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic digital skills for creating training content, managing course documentation, and using learning management or collaboration platforms.
• A bachelor's degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in BIM training or industry BIM roles is preferred.
• Experience with project-based learning and ISO BIM standards is an advantage.
