BIM Modeler

Archetype Group, an international construction consultancy working across architecture, master planning, building engineering, industrial and process engineering, and project and cost management, is seeking a BIM Modeler for its on-site Chennai office. The role focuses on developing and managing detailed BIM models across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and update detailed 3D BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Produce construction drawings and project documentation.
• Support clash detection, design reviews, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to maintain model accuracy and consistency.
• Follow project-specific BIM protocols, model standards, and industry best practices.
• Assist with workflow optimization and quality checks.
• Support the integration of sustainable and innovative design solutions.

Requirements:
• Strong BIM skills and experience as a BIM Modeler.
• Proficiency in industry-standard BIM tools such as Revit and Navisworks.
• Knowledge of architectural design and construction drawings, including translating design concepts into accurate plans and detailed documentation.
• Understanding of MEP coordination and clash resolution.
• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with international building codes, standards, and BIM collaboration platforms is an advantage.
• Experience in large-scale commercial or industrial projects is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
