Electrical BIM Modeler

JOB OVERVIEW

DAS & Partners Engineering is seeking a skilled Electrical BIM Modeler to develop, manage, and update electrical Building Information Models (BIM) supporting project design, coordination, and construction activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and other electrical systems.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other disciplines to ensure model integration and clash detection.
• Produce detailed drawings, schedules, and reports from BIM models.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, relevant standards, and applicable codes.
• Assist with technical documentation and as-built model preparation.
• Support project teams during design reviews and construction phases.
• Use BIM software such as Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, and other relevant tools.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Electrical BIM Modeler or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP, and Navisworks.
• Strong understanding of electrical design and construction processes.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
