Interior Fit-Out Designer / Detailer

Role Overview:

• Prepare detailed shop drawings and technical drawings for interior fit-out, joinery, doors, and related works.
• Apply strong knowledge of construction details, materials, and UAE fit-out practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
• Prepare and coordinate joinery and millwork drawings, RCP and ceiling layouts, floor finish layouts, furniture and fixture details, MEP coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Develop drawings for joinery, doors, wall panels, ceilings, cabinetry, and other fit-out elements.
• Review architectural and interior design drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Conduct site measurements and surveys and incorporate actual site conditions into drawings.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, production teams, and site teams.
• Assist with material selection and ensure materials are suitable for design and execution requirements.
• Resolve design, technical, and site execution issues.
• Revise drawings based on client, consultant, and project team comments.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, practical, and suitable for production and installation.
• Complete drawings and deliverables within project deadlines.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out, joinery, doors, and construction detailing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of SketchUp or Revit is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in interior fit-out, joinery, or technical detailing.
• UAE experience is preferred.
• Experience in commercial offices, retail outlets, residential interiors, and hospitality projects.
• Team player who is adaptable and able to work under tight deadlines.
