Mechanical BIM Modeler

JOB OVERVIEW

DAS & Partners Engineering is seeking a skilled Mechanical BIM Modeler to join its engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for developing and managing detailed 3D BIM models for mechanical systems to support design coordination and project delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, update, and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other disciplines to ensure proper model integration and clash detection.
• Prepare detailed drawings, schedules, and reports from BIM models.
• Ensure mechanical models comply with project requirements, relevant standards, and applicable codes.
• Support technical documentation and preparation of as-built models.
• Assist project teams during design reviews and construction phases.
• Use software such as Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, and other relevant BIM tools.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in mechanical BIM modeling or a similar position.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP, and Navisworks.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems design and construction.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
