Senior Tekla Modeller

Company Description:

EdgePro Axis India Private Limited is an engineering services company specializing in the design and detailing of steel structures. Its expertise includes structural steel, PEMB, miscellaneous steel works, bridges, stairs, and railings.

Role Description:

• Create and manage detailed 3D models of structural steel, PEMB, and miscellaneous steel components using Tekla Structures.
• Prepare shop and erection drawings.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate with design engineers.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and project specifications.
• Review inputs and resolve modelling and detailing issues.
• Guide junior modellers and maintain quality and consistency across deliverables.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to meet schedules and support smooth project execution.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Tekla Structures for 3D modelling and detailing of structural and miscellaneous steel.
• Experience with structural steel, PEMB, bridges, stairs, railings, and related steel works.
• Solid understanding of steel design codes, standards, connection detailing, and fabrication practices.
• Ability to review and interpret engineering drawings, BIM models, and project specifications.
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior modellers and coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Diploma or degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior experience in a steel detailing firm is highly beneficial.
• Comfortable working on-site in Hubli-Dharwad and collaborating with local and remote stakeholders.
